I care about my team beyond what they do on the field. I know it's important to be a good person, not just a good athlete. "
Elliott won a tournament game for his little league team. He was the closing pitcher. He struck 8 kids out and they got the other one out at 1st. He was throwing fire under pressure. He was focused. After the game I asked what he was thinking about and he said Mason Miller. I don't know MLB but he explained to me he's the best closing pitcher in the MLB. I was so proud to see him so focused and see all his hard work paying off in real time!
