What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Ellis loves being a part of a team. He enjoys the competition but there is genuine joy when he cheers for his teammates.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Ellis is a huge fan of LeBron James because of his accomplishments and work ethic. He also admires his father and is always looking for his leadership.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Ellis recently began learning golf. I was extremely proud of the focus and dedication he exhibited at 8 when learning a slower sport.
