Whether she’s making a big save in goal or celebrating a teammate’s success, she plays because she genuinely loves the game, the friendships, and the opportunity to grow through hard work.
Emerie is inspired by her coaches and her teammates who work hard, never give up, and always support one another. She also looks up to her family, who encourage her to stay humble, work hard, and treat others with kindness. She believes success comes from dedication, perseverance, and lifting up those around you.
Watching Emerie earn the opportunity to play up with older, more experienced athletes has made me incredibly proud. She embraced the challenge with confidence, determination, and humility. Despite facing learning challenges off the field, she never lets them define her. She works harder than anyone, encourages her teammates, and continues to prove that character matters just as much as talent.
