What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love the competition because it pushes me to work harder and never give up. I like challenging myself, competing against other players, and seeing how much I can improve. Football also teaches me teamwork, discipline, and how to keep going even when things get hard. There’s nothing like being on the field and giving everything I have.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My coach, Mr. Ransom, inspires me because he is always encouraging and looking out for his players, both on and off the field. He makes sure we are on the right track and reminds us to stay focused and motivated. He teaches me that being a good athlete is not just about football, but also about being a good person and making good choices.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me the proudest is when I scored a 70 yard kick return touchdown. I remember taking the ball and seeing the field open up in front of me. I gave it everything I had and made it to the end zone. It showed me what I can accomplish when I stay focused, trust myself, and never give up.
