Join the CompetitionWhat he loves most is being a part of a team, competing, and constantly challenging himself. He enjoys the camaraderie and the satisfaction that comes from putting in the work. Both sports have taught him discipline, PERSEVERANCE, and how to support others.
His twin brother motivates him everyday through their shared experiences and daily competition. He is also inspired by his coaches who look out for him and encourage him to work hard. Lastly me his mother, I hope I have inspired him as I have sought out trainings and programs to help him meet his goals.
Watching him handle adversity during basketball season. Early on, he didn’t receive much playing time but he never complained or let him discourage him. At 10/11 I was impressed that continued working hard and supported his teammates. By the end of the season, his dedication paid off. He earned more playing time and made meaningful contributions - block, steal, rebounds. Seeing his confidence grow was amazing and he went on to make not one but two AAU teams. Proud of the young man he is becoming
