He loves the challenge of pushing himself to get better every day and the confidence that boxing has given him. What makes the sport especially meaningful to him is that he gets to share it with his dad, who introduced him to boxing and inspires him to work hard. He enjoys learning new skills, staying active, and showing respect to his coaches and opponents. Most of all, he loves stepping into the ring knowing that every practice and every match helps him grownot just as a boxer, but as a person
His biggest inspiration is his dad. Watching his dad box motivated him to try the sport, and ever since, he has looked up to him as a role model. His dad has taught him that success comes from hard work, discipline, and never giving up, even when things get tough. Through boxing, he has learned the importance of respect, perseverance, and believing in himself. He hopes to continue making his family proud by giving his best effort both in and out of the ring.
The moment that makes me the proudest is watching Emilio stay committed to boxing, even before his first amateur fight. He shows up to every practice ready to learn, works hard, and never gives up when training gets challenging. Seeing his confidence grow, his discipline improve, and his determination to keep getting better has been incredibly rewarding.
