She loves the relationships that she has built on and off the field. Her dedication to her sport brings her calm and pure joy. She pushes herself everyday to get better and help others be better. Sports has given her the foundation to work towards a goal individually and with her team. Emma dedicates countless hours training and practicing to improve a little each day.
Her Dad is a huge inspiration for her. They are at the field together training everyday, buckets of balls pitched to her, giving her advice on fielding and coaching. She would not be at the level that she is today without him.
Emma was awarded the MVP medal in a softball tournament. It was given to her by the opposing team. They said that they were impressed by her knowledge of the game, skills on the field and how she was lifting her teammates up when they were down. She makes me so proud everyday. I know that she loves this game and we are so proud of the person that she is on the field supporting her team, not getting upset if a play doesn’t go her way. She holds her head high and moves forward with integrity.
