Learn MoreEmma’s nickname is Breezy well because she is just that on the field. Soccer has certainly given her a sanctuary where she can find peace and clarity on a pitch, whether it’s early morning practice or hot summer game it’s still the place she loves to be. Being with a team and learning its strengths and where improvements can help, then seeing it happen. Another reason she loves soccer is how it brings everyone together for a common goal in both regards, physically and mentally
She is inspired by a former teacher from elementary school. She taught Emma to always be kind and offer help. Teaching her that her table is big enough to include everyone.
I would say freshmen year of highschool soccer. She was able to make varsity and she really questioned if she would be good enough. She spent extra time outside of normal practice working on her craft, taking those corners kicks until they were going in or shooting harder. Once the season started she and her team did great and Emma helped lead the team to playoffs after many years
