As an athlete and a human being, I am inspired endlessly by my two older sisters. They are role models for me, not only on the sports field, but in thier studies and work ethics. I strive to become like them as I work through my own obstacles.
Emma has an awareness and an empathy that always fills us with a deep sense of pride. I’m think one of our proudest moments was when she won a coach’s award as a freshman, and then was voted by her peers to be a captain as a Sophomore. The responsibility of that honor as a younger athlete made me a bit nervous, but my pride was solidified by how successful, supported and well received she was by her team in this leadership role.
