What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

He loves the challenge, competition and constant opportunity to improve. He loves being part of a team, building friendships with teammates and pushing himself to become better. Whether he’s making a save in hockey, competing in rugby or training on his own, he loves the feeling of giving everything he has. Most of all, he loves the excitement, the pressure and knowing that his hard work can make a difference.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

His biggest inspirations are his parents, coaches and teammates. His parents have always supported him and worked incredibly hard to give him opportunities to chase his goals. His coaches inspire him to keep improving and never settle, while his teammates remind him why he loves being part of a team. Together, they’ve taught him that being a great athlete isn’t only about talent. It’s about effort, character, resilience and being someone others can count on.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching him earn his place on U18 hockey makes us incredibly proud. He worked for it through years of practices, training, setbacks and moments when things didn’t go his way. Seeing him keep pushing forward and eventually earn that spot showed us how much determination he has. More than the accomplishment itself, we’re proud that he never let setbacks define him and kept working until he reached a goal he had worked so hard for.
