Whether it's lacrosse, soccer, basketball, or baseball, he enjoys learning new skills, challenging himself, and celebrating his teammates' successes just as much as his own. He never backs down from hard work and is always excited for the next practice, game, or opportunity to improve.
His biggest inspiration is his dad, Geoff. Watching him coach, encourage young athletes, and lead by example has taught Emmett that being a great teammate matters just as much as being a great player. He also looks up to athletes like Messi for his perseverance to overcome adversity, incredible work ethic, passion for the game, and commitment to always improving.
What makes us proudest isn't a goal or a championship. It's seeing Emmett instinctively reach out a hand to help an opponent or teammate off the ground and always check to make sure they're okay. His kindness, sportsmanship, and respect for others never take a back seat to competition. That's the kind of athlete and person we're most proud of.
