What she loves most is the grind. She’s driven by her ambition to go pro, loving every minute of off-season training, skill-building, and conditioning. As the first basketball player in her family, she plays with a unique sense of pride and purpose. She loves the fast pace, the challenge of constant improvement, and the joy of competing at the highest level.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

She is deeply inspired by her mother and stepfather. Seeing their strong work ethic and the sacrifices they've made instilled in her a relentless drive to hustle for her dreams. As a proud Mexican teenager and the first in her family to play basketball, she feels a special responsibility to lead the way. Their support fuels her ambition to play professionally, motivating her to maintain honor roll grades and grind through every off-season session.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Four years ago, when she started playing, girls who had trained and played for years told her she couldn't succeed due to her height and lack of experience. She didn't let that stop her—she used it as fuel. Through relentless off-season work and focus, she completely proved them wrong and turned doubt into respect. As the first hooper in our family, watching her silence the noise, hold honor roll grades, and relentlessly chase her dream to go pro is the moment that fills my heart with pride.
