She would probably say myself & her dad. We work to give her all the chances she can have with soccer, and choices of college to play at. From private lessons, driving her to and from every practice, summer soccer. Even ID camps all over New England. Giving her a chance to play soccer in England or Italy is our goal.
Her 8th grade soccer game, she injured her knee during the game but was determined not to miss a minute of the game. It was a semi-final game, and her last time playing with that specific team. It wasn’t about winning for her, it was playing with her teammates before they all chose different high schools and some players were moving away. She was in tears, injured, but she kept playing her heart out.
