What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat he loves most about football is the challenge. He loves competing, making big plays, being apart of a team, and knowing that his hard work can make a difference. As a defensive lineman, he takes pride in stopping the offense, protecting his teammates, and giving everything he has on every play. Football has taught him that success comes from preparation, perseverance and believing in yourself.
His biggest inspiration is his family. we remind him that his talent is a blessing, but his character and work ethic are what will take him far in life. he is also inspired by his coaches and teammates, who push hum to become better every day. he has leaned that being a great athlete isn't just about what you accomplish on the filed- its about the person you become along the way.
The moment that makes me proudest isn't just one game or one big play. Its watching how much he has grown over time. I have watched him grow from learning the game to becoming a confident, hardworking defensive lineman. He brings strength, determination, discipline and heart to every game. He never stops working to improve, and watching his confidence grow has been one of my proudest accomplishments as a mom.
