Learn MoreI play football and rugby and I love the physical contact of the game, the tackling, the chase, and the speed of the game. As a linebacker/DB, I like reading plays and closing space fast. In rugby, I enjoy playing defense and the ability to stop the play but also carrying the ball, using my speed to break through and score. The physicality, intensity, and team camaraderie are what make me love the game.
My teammates inspire me the most. Their work ethic, toughness, and commitment push me to match their effort. They show up, stay positive, and support each other through tough practices and close games. Their attitude and accountability make me want to be better on and off the field.
There isn't one specific moment but more so the moments when he shows up after a tough loss or on days he doesn't feel like practicing. He still commits, still supports his team, and still gives effort. That resilience and responsibility show more about his character than any win and how he handles the hard parts of the game is what makes me proud.
