Learn MoreFootball is an outlet for Ezra. Losing his parents at a young age, shaped his resilience and perspective. Even though he participates in multiple sports, football is his passion. Sports gives him confidence and makes him stronger mentally and physically, as well as challenges him. Playing on a team gives him a sense of belonging, but most of all it's fun!
He is inspired by multiple players that he follows,as well as his coaches. He feels empowerment and uses his personal experiences to fuel his success.
Surprisingly enough, it's not that long run, that tackle, that touchdown, or that 3 point basket...it is his motivation and perseverance that make me proud. When he works out while other kids are laying in bed playing video games. It's when he goes to practice early and stays late...when he runs drills in the backyard or goes to the gym when he doesn't have to. It is all the effort he puts toward being the best he can be.
