What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Participating, learning and advancing in skill development in order to level up in development skills. Having fun and enjoying meeting new friends.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I am Ezra’s guardian, I encourage Ezra to step out of her comfort zone and be brave so she can build confidence in herself . Be proud of her achievements and herself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Ezra participated in school track and field , she came in first in all her races which qualified her for district finals. Ezra placed second in her races at district. At age 11 she is focused on continuing soccer league with Nanaimo United, and continuing with track and field competition.

Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
