What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat he loves most is simply being part of the game. He loves competing, improving, being around his teammates, and challenging himself to become better every day. He doesn’t just play because he has to—he genuinely loves the sport. No matter how hard practice is or how tired he may be, he shows up ready to work. The game gives him something to work toward and something he truly enjoys.
His biggest inspiration is his family and the people who believe in him. Seeing the dedication and sacrifices of the people around him motivates him to give his best. His coaches also inspire him because they challenge him to grow, hold him accountable, and remind him that success comes from consistency and hard work. Most importantly, he wants to make the people who support him proud while becoming the best version of himself.
What makes me most proud isn’t just one game or one accomplishment—it’s watching him continue to show up every single day. There are days when things are difficult, but he keeps going. His willingness to work, learn from mistakes, encourage his teammates, and come back the next day ready to improve shows the kind of athlete and person he is becoming. Watching his love for the game and his commitment to getting better is something I’m incredibly proud of.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
