His older brother Felix inspires Roman the most on and off the field. Roman always talks highly about his brother how good he is playing baseball at shortstop and he hit the ball far. Roman talk about his brother graduating from college and he has a chance to get drafted in baseball. Roman says I'm going do the same you watch and see.
The best moment for me, is seeing my son call his Apu ( Grandpa) to pray with him and myself before each game . Then, he leads the team in prayer, before the game starts. Roman started praying after the game, on the mound, by himself. Parents asked me what he was doing and I let them know he was giving thanks to God. The parents smiled and said it was awesome. Now, he has his teammates praying with him, on the mound, win or lose he is thanking God for the opportunity for playing.
