What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

The love that she has for this sport has made her grow not only as a player but as an individual as well. I think what she loves most about the sport of hockey is the ability it has given her to work better with a team and individually, it has strengthened her communication skills on and off ice, and she has a stronger desire than before to help and be there to support her teammates. Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

The people who have inspired her on the ice as well as off the ice are her coaches. Many of who have watched her progress up through the sport. She said that the people who inspire her off the ice in the real world are her aunts and her mom and dad. She is able to see what real people have to overcome to be successful and how hard they have always pushed to be the best they can be for bothe her and her bother.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

All the moments in her athletic journey make me proud. However, if I had to chose one of the more recent ones I would have to say when they won the silversticks tournament and brought that home to the U.S. as well as put them on a plaque and put them in the Hockey Hall of Fame. They continued that streak and won their entire season that year. I was not only proud of her but all the girls on her team. She was there for them as a friend and a teammate.
