She loves the friendships she’s made, the excitement of competition especially attending tournaments, and the sense of accomplishment that comes from giving their best and seeing their hard work pay off.
Gabby is inspired by the people she surrounds herself with. People who encourage her to believe in herself, work hard, and never give up. Her family, friends and coaches have been especially important, teaching her the value of dedication, perseverance, and staying true to herself. Gabby also looks up to athletes who demonstrate determination, sportsmanship, and the ability to overcome challenges while continuing to pursue their goals. Such as Sidney Crosby and Marie-Philip Poulin.
One of the proudest moments was when Gabriella was in grade 10 and it was her second year playing high school hockey and her team took home the provincial championship/banner. It was the first time the girls hockey team has ever won.
