Learn MoreGarrett loves playing for the love of the game- hockey is his favorite sport. He loves when his team hypes him up and he is able to hype them up. He loves the team family dynamic. He enjoys skating to give knuckles to his teammates after a goal. Win or loose he still has heart for the game even when the goalie position seems daunting.
His cousins and his goalie buddy Kiana! They cheer him on and give him advice and encouragement. He also gives credit to his coach this last season, Coach Colin and to his coach who gave him his first shot on the ice and at a chance on a team without having played hockey before, Coach Jeremy. There encouragement and dedication helped shape him.
When he showed sportsmanship to another goalie who had a tough game in the championship. He gave him fist bumps and encouragement making sure he knew he wasn't alone and to keep going strong.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
