What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Wrestling became so much more than a sport—it became my home. 🤼‍♂️❤️ Through the hard days, the victories, the losses, and every challenge in between, wrestling helped me find myself, discover my strength, and find a reason to keep pushing forward. It taught me discipline, resilience, confidence, and never to give up. Wrestling didn’t just shape the athlete I am—it helped shape the person I am. I love wrestling because in the middle of the fight, I found myself. 💪

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Coach Montana Carson was so much more than a coach. He was a father figure, mentor, teacher, and someone I looked up to both on and off the mat. He believed in me, pushed me beyond what I thought I could do, and helped me become a better wrestler and person. His lessons taught me discipline, perseverance, accountability, and confidence. I stepped onto the mat as his wrestler, but walked away with the guidance of a mentor and the love of a father figure. He helped shape who I am today.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

His proudest athletic moment came senior year when he became a State Champion & earned All-State honors. That moment represented years of sacrifice, tough practices, losses, growth, & never giving up. Standing on top of the podium brought a level of euphoria he believes he may never feel again. Wrestling gave him more than medals it gave him confidence, discipline, resilience, and purpose. Winning State was the reward, but the journey was the achievement.
