What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

What Gia loves most about lacrosse is the opportunity to play both midfield and defense. She loves the speed, intensity, and teamwork of the game. As a midfielder, she enjoys being involved in both offense and defense, creating plays, transitioning the ball, and helping her team wherever she is needed. As a defender, she loves the challenge of reading the field, communicating with her teammates, and stopping the opposing team from scoring. Most of all, Gia loves the feeling of competing!!!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Gia is inspired by the people who believe in her and encourage her to become the best version of herself, both on and off the field. Her parents are her greatest inspiration. They support her dreams, encourage her through challenges, and remind her to stay humble, work hard, and always give her best effort. Their love and guidance motivate her to continue growing as an athlete, student, and young woman. Her coaches have also played an important role in her development.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment in Gia’s athletic career that makes me the proudest is when she scored six goals in one game. Watching her confidence, determination, and skill come together on the field was an incredible moment as a parent. It showed how much she has grown through six years of dedication to lacrosse. But what makes me even prouder is that her accomplishments are not only measured by goals. Gia has received the most ribbons for being kind, humble, and respectful on the field.
