What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreMy son loves the energy that playing sports gives him. He says it keeps him occupied, focused, and free. Being on the court allows him to clear his mind, stay active, and enjoy doing what he loves.
My son’s biggest inspiration, both on and off the court, is his Uncle Brandon. He looks up to him because he always pushes him to be his best. From countless practices to games, Uncle Brandon has been there every step of the way as his basketball coach for multiple seasons. His encouragement, guidance, and constant motivation have helped shape him into the player he is today. My son truly believes he wouldn’t be where he is without his uncle’s support.
One of the moments that makes me the proudest is watching my son grow in confidence and dedication through basketball. Seeing how hard he works, how much he’s improved over the years, and the respect he shows his teammates and coaches makes me incredibly proud. Watching him never give up and continue to chase his goals both on and off the court is the greatest reward as a parent.
