He loves the competition, the challenge to improve, and knowing his effort can help his team. Most of all, he values the friendships, coaches, memories, wins, and losses. Soccer has helped shape him into the player and person he is today.
Cristiano Ronaldo inspires Gio both on and off the field. Gio admires his incredible work ethic, discipline, determination, and commitment to always becoming better. Ronaldo’s journey reminds him that talent is only part of success it takes sacrifice, focus, and perseverance to reach your goals. Off the field, Gio respects how Ronaldo continues to push himself, overcome challenges, and lead by example. His mindset motivates Gio to work harder, believe in himself, and never settle.
One moment in Gio’s soccer journey that made me especially proud was watching him step onto the field for his senior season and realize how far he had come. After years of hard work, sacrifices, practices, and challenges, he wasn’t just playing the game he loved he was leading by example. Seeing his confidence, determination, and commitment to his teammates reminded me that the journey was about so much more than soccer. It was about the person he had become.
