What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

overall, self improvement helping her with discipline creating structure building routine establishing relationships. Giselle🌊❤️🧸💫 can be a little bit of an introvert shy at times and she has found that track and field has allowed her to be able to make friends with girls who are like-minded, sharing common goals, and that has increased her confidence and her camaraderie and that they support each other, but they know that they are also each other’s competition and they support each otheI.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

on the field, Giselle is mostly inspired by the athlete who has the best time. She sets small personal goals that starts out shaving small amount of time, ultimately growing her accomplishments to PR‘s race after race. Her ability to reach her own personal accomplishments and goals create an atmosphere for her to inspire herself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I am proud of her every time she steps foot on that track. I see her focus, her praying, her body language. I see her encouraging herself. I feel her nervousness, but then I watch her perform beyond what she did before with each race producing quicker times. On and off the track her journey has been one of understanding her relationship with God comes first. She's prayerful and mindful of her strength and ability comes from God. I'm proud of her ability to take her wins and losses with grace.
