She is an incredible athlete and is a hard worker. She broke two high school records for track, and played varsity soccer and basketball.

Learn MoreGiuliana loves pushing herself to be her absolute best. She always says her biggest competitor is herself, and she strives to make everyone around her better. She was named a captain of her High School soccer varsity team this year as a sophomore, and has been trying to embody those traits as an example to her teammates.
Her biggest inspiration is her trainer, Alex Kimball. Alex has shown consistent belief in her and her abilities, which has really given her the confidence she needs to push herself outside of her boundaries. After only a few sessions, I’ve seen the improvement in not only her technical ability, but mindset and work rate as well. Alex has inspired her to believe in the player she is, and the player she can become.
There are many, however the one that stands out to me the most was when she was walking into the stadium for state track. After only competing in two varsity meets she had qualified for state as a freshmen, and had no idea what to expect. She was unprepared, and alone (no other freshman had qualified), but she didn’t let that stop her. She walked in with the mindset of “here we go, we’re doing this! All I have to do is try my best.” And she did.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
