What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Gracie has played softball & participated in competition dance since since she was 4 yrs old. She love challenging herself & improving her skills. Her favorite part is being part of a team.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Gracie is inspired by her teammates around her & her friends. The adults in her life that have supported her & encouraged her, dance teachers, softball coaches & her family.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Gracie had an injury right before high school softball tryouts and was put on strict limitations. Even with limitations she showed up every day. She supported the other athletes and assisted anyway she could when the they were doing drills she couldn't participate in & she went all out on drills she could participate in. At the end of the week she was ecstatic to make the team due to her dedication to the sport & her willingness assist the team in any way she could. She never gave up.
