What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

While I really have a great time playing both lacrosse and football, working on the field with my teammates and learning from eachother is one of the best things about team sports. The camaraderie and bonding that builds friendships both on and off the field. I also love to push myself and strive to always get better. It’s amazing to see what you can accomplish when you set goals for yourself.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I have many role models I look up to, but the one who motivates me the best is my Papa. Not only did he win a basketball National Championship in college playing for Alma, but he also played football and baseball as well. The wealth of knowledge he provides me and guidance is invaluable. To have someone in your life that has achieved so much is extremely motivating to do the same in my future.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I’ve done some pretty amazing things in my lacrosse journey, but two things stand out. I tried out against 1600 nationwide and made the PLL Jr. Championships. I was drafted as a Junior Redwood. Out of the 1600 kids who tried out, 160 made it. That was huge for me! Another thing I’m very proud of is I’m headed to Australia to play the Australian National Teams with PLL Play USA. It’s such a huge opportunity to go to another country and meet and play kids that are into lacrosse like me.
