Learn MoreWhat I love most about cheerleading is the energy, excitement, and joy I feel every time I step onto the mat. I love learning new skills, performing with my teammates, and cheering everyone on. Cheerleading has taught me to work hard, stay positive, and never give up. My favorite part is being part of a team where we support and encourage each other. It makes me feel confident, strong, and proud of everything I can accomplish!
My biggest inspiration is my family because they always believe in me, encourage me, and cheer me on no matter what. My coaches and teammates also inspire me to work harder, learn new skills, and never give up. They remind me that mistakes are part of learning and that with dedication and a positive attitude, I can accomplish anything I set my mind to.
The moment I’m proudest of is when I performed a routine on stage after working so hard to learn every skill and detail. I was nervous, but I trusted my coaches, teammates, and myself and gave it my all. Hearing the cheers from the crowd and knowing how much I had practiced made me feel incredibly proud. It reminded me that hard work, courage, and determination can turn challenges into accomplishments.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
