What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love being on the team and what we do as one unit. But also what I add to the team personally. The challenge in golf because it's such an individual game and mental game. The challenge in jujitsu because its so mentally challenging and physical, learning new techniques. The challenge and fun of hockey as a team and individual player. I love the friendships and the lessons I've learned even when we lose a game and the fun rivalries against friends on other teams.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Zack Hyman because he works hard. Elia Tupori because he fights so cool and doesnt give up. Rory McIlroy because he's the best and has stayed at the top for so long , isnt a big guy but can hit the furthest. My dad. Because he takes me golfing and to all my practices and got me interested in the sports and I like watching with him when I'm not playing.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

For both my husband and i its when he made it to the Brick Tournament (which is a youth elite team everyone tries out for when they are 10). He Didn't make the final cut to move on and play with the team. While other parents and kids left upset and making excuses, he chose to stay and cheer on the boys he knew in hopes that they would. I've never been so proud. Other parents noticed and commented on how a 10 year old could be so mature and care for others.
