Whether it’s football or basketball, he enjoys learning new skills, competing, and celebrating his teammates’ success as much as his own. He believes hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work hard. The friendships, discipline, and confidence he’s builds through sports are what keep him excited to practice, compete, and grow both as an athlete and as a person.
His biggest inspiration is his dad. Watching him coach, encourage kids, and always put character before winning has taught Haaris that great athletes are also great teammates. He also admires professional athletes who stay humble, work hard, and give back because they remind him that success isn’t measured only by trophies but by how you treat people.
The proudest moment wasn’t a touchdown or a medal, it was seeing Haaris encourage a teammate who was struggling after making a mistake. Instead of celebrating himself, he helped build someone else’s confidence. Moments like that remind us that sports are about much more than winning. They teach leadership, resilience, humility, and kindness, and Haaris continues to grow in all of those areas every season.
