In only his second football game ever, Hagen chased down an opponent who had a 40-yard head start and stopped him just before the end zone. I was proud of the athleticism, but even more proud that he never gave up on the play. That moment showed me the kind of competitor he was becoming. No matter how far behind he is, he keeps going until the play is over.
