She loves the social interactions and that every season brings new opportunities. Sports also teach you values like working hard and pushing yourself, which just make you a better person overall. Plus, it teaches you real life skills you’ll use forever, and something to focus on, like an escape from everything else going on
Haiden is inspired by Edmonton Oilers forward Zach Hyman. He shows her that if you keep showing up, working hard and doing little things, even if you’re not the best, you can reach your dreams. His attitude and character inspire her to inspire others and to do little things to get better at her sports and to keep strong and improving.
Most proud of the moments of determination. Haiden shows up in every sport she plays and in every interaction she has with teammates, competitors, and coaches. She’s a positive force wherever she goes. One thing that makes us especially proud is hearing from others how much she’s impacted them. What means the most to us is that she she wants to inspire people on purpose. She’s expressed a real desire to advocate for athletes facing challenges, both in para sport and in sport in general.
