Learn MoreHalle loves competing, especially in big games and big moments. As a point guard, she loves leading her team, getting her teammates involved and doing whatever it takes to win. She takes just as much pride in making a great pass or getting a defensive stop as she does scoring. She simply loves to compete and loves the game of basketball.
Halle is inspired by players who compete at a high level, lead their teams and continue to work at their craft. She studies great point guards and tries to take pieces from their games, but she is also motivated by her own goals. She wants to see how good she can become and understands that reaching her goals requires consistency, hard work and being willing to be coached.
One of my proudest moments was watching Halle hit the game-winning shot in the championship game of a tournament this AAU season. She loves big moments, and seeing her have the confidence to take and make that shot was special. More than the shot itself, it was seeing all the hours of work and preparation pay off in one unforgettable moment.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
