What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

I love cheer because it makes me feel strong, confident, and proud of myself. I love learning new skills, especially tumbling, and seeing how much I improve when I keep working hard. I also love being part of a team, making new friends, cheering each other on, and having fun together. My favorite feeling is finally getting a skill I’ve been working really hard on—it makes me want to keep pushing myself and see what I can do next!

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

My coaches and teammates inspire me because they always encourage me to work hard, believe in myself, and never give up. I love watching the older athletes at my gym because I want to learn the amazing skills they can do one day! Off the mat, my family inspires me because they are always there cheering me on, helping me when things are hard, and reminding me to be kind, brave, and always be myself.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes me proudest isn’t a trophy, touchdown, or new skill—it’s watching Harper find her confidence. Whether she’s stepping onto the cheer mat or the flag football field, she’s willing to try, learn, and push herself. Watching her discover her strength in two very different sports, keep showing up when things are hard, and truly believe in herself means more to me than any medal or win ever could.
