What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Harper loves competing, being part of a team, and seeing her hard work pay off. She loves the feeling of stepping onto the field with her teammates, taking on a challenge, and knowing every practice is helping her improve. Whether pitching, hitting, or playing wherever her team needs her, she simply loves playing the game, having fun, and pushing herself to become a better athlete and teammate.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Harper is inspired by the people who show her that success comes from hard work, perseverance, and believing in herself. She looks up to great athletes, but her biggest influences are her coaches, teammates, and family who encourage her every day. They have taught her that being a great athlete isn't just about talent, it's about effort, character, being a good teammate, and continuing to work when things get difficult.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

I was proudest watching Harper overcome a shoulder injury she received during a game. For months, she dealt with physical therapy and the heartbreak of being unable to play, but through it all, she never stopped being a teammate. She attended games, stayed in the dugout, and cheered for her teammates when she couldn't contribute on the field. She worked relentlessly to return, and in her first tournament back, earned an All-Star selection. Her resilience and commitment was inspiring to see.
