What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreWhat I love most about wrestling is the freedom to make it my own. I love choosing my moves, setting my pace, and wrestling with my own style and intensity. It’s an individual sport, but I’m never alone—my coaches, teammates, and training partners push me to be better. Wrestling challenges me, builds my confidence, and teaches me to keep going when things get hard. Most of all, I love using the gifts God gave me and keeping Him at the center of it all.
Molly Dare and Lori Piestewa from Colorado Mesa University, and Bella Ngo from Umpqua Community College, are three wrestlers I really look up to. I admire how hard they work, how they compete, and the way they carry themselves on and off the mat. They push me to work harder, stay confident, and use the gifts God has given me to become the best athlete, teammate, and person I can be.
