Receive Text UpdatesHayden loves how baseball combines the physicality of sports with the mental game. Baseball is hard; as much as it's a team sport, you have to work through a lot of adversity to succeed individually. You have to adapt and persevere, so the wins are that much sweeter!
His coaches and his teammates inspire him. Hayden is a big team guy and everything he does is motivated by making him teammates and his coaches proud of him. His reputation and how he carries himself has always been more important than the awards and the individual achievements. He tries to strive to be as good as the players he surrounds himself with.
It's really enjoyable to watch Hayden fall in love with coaching. He runs Development/Skill Clinics for House League and lends his time to camps and training for other age groups. He is a coach with the 12U team and absolutely thinks the world of the boys that he gets to mentor and help develop. I don't think he expected to love coaching and giving back as much as he does, but when you are obsessed with the game - it's a really different perspective and he loves being involved.
