Hayden

What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

One word: CHALLENGE. 👊 whether it's year-round soccer, ODP, flag football, basketball, cross country—or an impromptu foot race, arm wrestle or push-up contest—Hayden is IN. With twin sisters a year older, she has grown up playing above her age group in every sport. From breaking school fitness records to chasing her next PR, she isn't afraid of hard things. For Hayden, the fun isn't just winning, it's discovering what she's capable of and encouraging others to push themselves too.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Jesus is Hayden’s greatest inspiration. Her identity is rooted in Him, which gives her the freedom to compete BIG without letting wins or losses define her. She loves people just as fiercely as she loves competition. From encouraging teammates to her friendship she’s built with her special needs friend Lou (her biggest soccer fan!), Hayden has a gift for making people feel seen & valued. She wants to be known not just for how hard she competes, but for how brightly she helps others shine.❤️

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

Watching our 6th grader challenge—and BEAT—a high school senior in a push-up contest at church was pretty unforgettable. 😂 That's Hayden: see a challenge, take the challenge. But our proudest moments aren't actually the wins. They're watching that same determination spill into how she leads and loves people. As an FCA student leader, teammate and friend, Hayden doesn't just want to shine—she wants the people around her to realize they can shine too. That's the athlete we're most proud to raise.
