Learn MoreHe loves playing sports because they challenge him to be better every day. He enjoys learning new skills, setting goals, and working hard to reach them. His favorite part is being with his teammates, encouraging them, and celebrating each other's successes. Whether we win or lose, he knows hes grown, had fun, and made great memories with my friends.
Henry is inspired by the people who lead with kindness, especially those who put others before themselves. He has learned that success isn't just about winning—it's about showing respect, working hard, encouraging teammates, and lifting others up. Those values guide him every time he steps onto a field, court, or starting line, and they shape the young man he is becoming.
One moment that stands out was after Henry finished a 5K race. Instead of celebrating his own accomplishment, he turned around and ran back to encourage his lifelong best friend to the finish line. That moment perfectly captured who he is as an athlete—competitive, compassionate, and selfless. While I'm proud of his achievements, I'm even prouder of the character he displays every time he competes.
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
