At 12under Hinano was chosen to represent Hawaii at the All American tournament in Oklahoma. Hinano loves to compete!! especially with her friends who brought out the Dawg in themselves. Hinano’s dream when she was a little girl will come true 1 year from now and will be attending UC Berkeley . Through this sport Hinano has played against and with the most talented athletes in her age group across the country. Building these friendships will last forever. Beyond blessed.!!
Hinano says her “family” inspires her because she plays for her last name Bautista!! and wear that name proud on her back. With that being said it sets the tone and standard Hinano holds for herself and keeps herself accountable. Her family’s sacrifices helps her to push hard, because she wouldn’t be here if it wasn’t for them. “She strives everyday to be better for them and live the Dream they have blessed the opportunity to achieve.“
Semi final game Mililani vs Campbell,Hinano had a ball hit right back at her ankle. She tried to finish the next couple innings but she couldn’t and they lost. Next 2 weeks before States she was down in the dumps trying to get better and also get her mind right. She asked Club Coach Josh for help!! He sent her videos of her past hitting and gave her words of encouragement… “You don’t have to prove nothing to nobody”. Later that season they won their 3rd championship.
