What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Holden loves the competition, the challenge, and being part of a team. He loves pushing himself to improve, learning from his coaches, and seeing his hard work pay off. Whether he’s on the wrestling mat, baseball field, basketball court, or football field, he loves competing alongside his teammates. Sports are truly his passion. He enjoys learning the strategy of each game, following his favorite athletes and stats, and always finding a way to get better.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Holden is most inspired by the athletes and coaches who show that talent only takes you so far. He looks up to players who work hard, stay humble, lead their teammates, and keep competing when things get tough. Off the field, his family and coaches inspire him to give his best effort, be a good teammate, and never stop learning. He wants to make the people who believe in him proud, and that motivates him to work harder and become better both as an athlete and as a person.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

It’s hard to choose just one. Watching him fight through his emotions on the wrestling mat taught us how much heart and resilience he has. There were moments when things were hard, but instead of giving up, he learned to compose himself, step back on the mat, and keep fighting. We were equally proud watching him earn the QB1 position on his football team. He worked for that role, embraced the responsibility of leading his teammates, and proved to himself that hard work and perseverance pay off.
