Hudson is inspired by athletes who work hard, stay humble, and put their team first. He also looks up to the coaches, family members, and teammates who have encouraged him along the way. They have taught him that being a great athlete is about more than winning—it is about effort, character, and how you treat the people around you.
One of my proudest moments was watching Hudson earn his way to the MLB Pitch, Hit & Run competition hosted by the Detroit Tigers. Seeing his hard work lead to an opportunity like that was special, but what made me proudest was how excited he was to keep improving. He enjoys the big moments, but he still loves the work that gets him there.
