What is Youth Athlete of the Year?
Learn MoreI love the competition, the opportunity to challenge myself, and being part of a team. I always enjoy working hard to improve my skills, supporting my teammates, and the excitement of game day. Most of all, I love pushing myself to be the best athlete I can be.
I’ve always loved playing my sport because it challenges me to become a better athlete and a better person. My dad is my biggest inspiration. He’s always reminded me that nothing comes easy and that success is earned through hard work, dedication, and the effort you put in every single day. Those lessons motivate me to keep pushing myself, never give up, and give my best in everything I do, both on and off the field.
The moment that makes me the proudest isn’t tied to a single game or trophy—it’s watching my son continue to show up, work hard, and never give up, even when things are difficult. I’ve seen the early mornings, long practices, setbacks, and sacrifices, and through it all, he has remained dedicated to becoming a better athlete and a better young man. His resilience, determination, and willingness to put in the work, even when no one is watching, makes me incredibly proud.
