Learn MoreWhat he loves most is making good plays, hitting bombs, and the feeling of a good win. Even tho he doesn’t like losses he learns from them in every game! He is learning that baseball is a game of failure so in every mistake, loss, and bad play he finds what he can do better next time. He also loves making friends from all around playing a sport they all love together!
Who inspires Hunter is his step dad and his coach Bit! Shane has worked him with since he was 3 years old on baseball and has taught him everything he knows about the game and he will always practice with him every chance he gets. His Coach Bit has been patient and understanding and has never given up on him. Both them push him to be the best he can be!
Hunter has made us so proud in overcoming his fear of failure. He takes the losses, strike outs and mistakes as learning opportunities on what he can do better! We are proud of his confidence even when he seems unsure. His third homerun was hit off an amazing pitcher with a variety of pitches and he seemed nervous but got up to bat with confidence and sent one over the fence! He is the youngest by 1-2 years on every team and he competes and works hard to be just as good as the oldest boys!
Colossal is a nationally registered professional fundraiser that inspires people to advocate for themselves and those in need. Through online competitions like Youth Athlete of the Year, Colossal offers participants the opportunity to make their mark while also making a big impact.
