What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Being a part of a team, helping her team Mates grow while growing her own skills and love for the game. She loves the adrenaline she feels every time she steps up to the plate or goes out onto the court.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

I believe she is inspired by herself, and the young player she use to be. She is reminded of where she started where she is and where she’s going. Seeing women like Olivia Miles, Kelsey Mitchell, Caitlin Clark, Paige Bueckers has inspired her to put in the work and just keep focusing on the game and how you can help your team.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

There have been many moments, but the one that sticks out is while she was playing summer league basketball, she had done something she’s never done before, attempt outside shots. She attempted and made quite a few and even hit a few three pointers. The athlete I know was afraid to take the shots because she was afraid she would miss. For the first time she believed in herself as much as everyone else believes in her and it was beautiful to see.
