I believe I serve as Isaiah's primary inspiration. Following my honorable military service, I endured a brain aneurysm, which I successfully overcame. This experience involved temporary vision loss, a stroke, and multiple seizures. Despite these challenges, I remained steadfast in my commitment to my children. I subsequently earned a bachelor's degree, demonstrating to them that life presents no limitations to what one can achieve, a lesson I consider invaluable.
The moment that he was the first kid to get 1000 yards at his school in the history of it made me proud. Getting over 2000 yards made me the proudest because he has paved the way and set a standard that will be really big shoes for the next person to fill.
