What do they love most about playing their sport(s)?

Isaiah loves the challenge, the teamwork, and the opportunity to grow every day. Whether he’s carrying the football, making a big tackle, or encouraging a teammate, he gives his all. He enjoys pushing himself to be better, learning from his coaches, and being part of something bigger than himself. For him, football isn’t just about winning—it’s about discipline, leadership, and building lifelong friendships.

Who inspires them—on or off the field—and why?

Isaiah is inspired by the memory of his father, who passed away when he was just 2 years old, and by his stepdad, Daquan. Daquan has been a constant source of guidance, teaching him that success comes from discipline, hard work, and never giving up. Every practice and every game is an opportunity for Isaiah to honor his father while making Daquan and his family proud.

What’s one moment in their athletic journey that makes you proudest?

The moment that makes us proudest was watching Isaiah earn the opportunity to compete at the National Championship in North Carolina this past December. Seeing all of his hard work, long practices, and determination pay off was unforgettable. More than the trip itself, we were proud of the young man he became—humble, disciplined, and a supportive teammate who represented his family, coaches, and community with pride.
